It's a sad fact of life. Bathtubs can take on stains, mostly caused by mineral build up from hard water. No one who handles bathroom cleaning should have to contend with bathtub stains. If you do find yourself with this problem keep this bathroom cleaning tip in mind: Use Borax for removing hard water stains.Just sprinkle some onto the offending area, let sit for a few minutes, and wipe with a damp sponge.
It did not work on hard water stains but did work on rust colored stains.
Sounds interesting but the tip doesn't saywhether to apply to a wet or a dry tub.
My wife's hair dye has stained our bathtub. How can I remove the stain?
magic eraser does the easy job, people.
And it didn't state what kind of tub either. I have acrylic.
I recently got a cat from a friend. i thought it would be a good idea to put the litter box in the bath tub and not on the floor. I use scooping litter in a a large size litter box and scopp twice daily. evidently the cat has missed the litter at some point in the last 5 days and it settled unnoticed under the cat box. When I went to change out all the litter today there was a brown stain the size of the box on my acylic tub. I have it soaking in soft scrub with bleach and have scrubbed it as well. Is there any hope for my tub?
