For an all-purpose non-polluting kitchen cleaning product, add two tablespoons baking soda to one quart of warm water. This mixture should clean almost any surface safely and without any fumes. If some areas are more difficult, simply use plain baking soda in place of a scouring powder, it works just as well, does not contain any chemicals, removes any odors and is far more economical. This mixture can also be used when washing the dishes, causing your plates to shine!
The TIDE TOgo, Is fantastic, but it has to be tested in a part invisible, before using.

Great tip! Thanks very much.
My grandmother taught me this tip when I was a child. I've used it ever since and it almost always works. Sometimes the old ways really are the best.
Baking soda has been a long time favorite of mine
not only will it clean and shine but it also is the easiest way to clean a pan that you have burned or scorched food in. Apply baking soda direct to pan add a couple of teaspoon of water make a paste & scrub. Instant shine & clean!
This works great thank you.
Plain baking soda does not get out hard stains.
I have tryed it at a couple of my customers homes and it just does not work. There are earth friendly no odor chemicals out there that work much better.
and everything will definitely require rinsing!
I use this all the time. Works great. Any stuck on food, just pour on some salt to the area. This also works great for cleaning the dogs bedding and sleep area.
Can't wait to try this!
Baking soda is also an effective and economical toothpaste.
I tried this and it works like a charm. My tub sparkles, my dishes shine....nice tip.
