You should be able to restore your clothes to white (and not damage the fibres of the fabric) by soaking them them in lukewarm water and color safe or oxygen bleach for 24 hours, then rinse them with vinegar and water. Use one tablespoon of vinegar to one quart of water. After treating them overnight, wash them in hot water with chlorine bleach added. This should refresh them to their original white state. If possible, dry them in the sun.
It is a long process, I will give it a shot for my white pillow cases first.
Great tip!
What are those yellow stains that show up on white clothes even when they have just been hanging in the closet for 6 months? I have been unable to remove them with Clorox, lemon juice, hydrogen peroxide, and numerous other things. These occur on clothes which have been laundered and are perfectly clean when I hang them in the closet.
very helpful for the white clothes
keep up the good work
How do you add vinegar in the final rinse if your washing machine model (for example) is a Fagor 3FS-3611 IT in which the whole cycle is unstoppable from washing to rinsing?
This Really Works Thanks For The Tip
