How do I remove Garlic/Onion odor from my hands?

Removing Garlic/Onion From Fingers

After chopping up onion and garlic, the smell tends to linger on your fingers and hands. To remove the odor try rubbing salt or lemon juice on wet hands, concentrating on the finger tip and nail area where odor tends to linger.

You can also soap up and rub your hands on metal like the spout of the sink...this takes the smell right off.

The spout of the sink or your knives. Just hand wash your knife (won't work with ceramic knives) but be careful.

Actually, there is no need to soap your hands. Just rub your hands arou nd in your metal sink if you have one or across the dull side of a large knife or clever. Stainless steel removed the smell in a flash.

washing your hands with soap and a stainless steel spoon or rubbing your soapy hands on a stainless steel sink works well too.

For garlic: Simply run cold water over your fingers and DO NOT RUB. I'm from Spain, trust me (garlic experts hehe). That's the trick because rubbing pushes the oils into your skin =]
