To remove the odor of gasoline from clothing, place the clothing in a large bucket of cold water. Add two cans of coke to the water and a box of baking soda. Allow the clothes to soak for 24 hours. Then, hang the clothes on a clothes line to air dry. Finally, place the dry garment into the washing machine and launder as usual.
I thought this tip was very usefull. Every time I'm at the pump my hands and clothes end up smelling like gasoline for some reason. I tried the tip and it worked like a charm!

What removing gasoline from leather? I'm pretty sure that soaking leather in water for any amount of time is a bad idea...
this worked great...spilled gasoline on black jeans and the odor came out...however the gasoline took some of the color out....will try bluing.
I think you have saved the day for me! I got gasoline on the sleeve of my blouse and couldn't figure out how to get the smell out. I will try your tip out tomorrow when I get some baking soda. I'll let you know what happens!!!
