Do Away With Nasty, Cupboard OdorsThe first method you should try to remove odor from your cupboards is to place a box of baking soda inside each cabinet. Baking soda will take care of most odor problems. However, if the baking soda does not alleviate the problem, take everything out of your cabinets and wipe down the inside of your cupboards with a heavy mixture of white vinegar and water. The vinegar odor will be strong when you are applying it, but when it is dry it will not be noticeable.Comments10/2/2006 8:34:03 PMDicki Jean said: This is a wonderful tip. Baking soda helps with lots of odor problems but you can not beat white vinegar for lot of problems. I use it on fresh pet stains (add water) and towel dry. And for sunburn it is the best to takeaway the pain and not much pealing.
