To get crayon off your fridge or stove, try this handy kitchen cleaning tip: use either a non-gel toothpaste or some WD-40. Both work well at eliminating crayon from appliances.

Those magic erasers work great on crayon. My son colored all over his walls (a beautiful river flowing across all the surfaces of his room). I used a magic eraser on it and it cleaned it up beautifully

RE: WD40 is a solvent for ink. It works too well and too fast. One careless swipe will remove printed directions and labels on your appliances-toaster, food processor, and dish washer. Also excellent solvents to be used with care around appliances: simple green and any orange-citrus cleaner.
