Screens are not the most attractive part of window cleaning. They're dusty, they have dirt and debris stuck in their little holes. They can honestly present a window cleaning challenge. They can also be a lot of fun to clean if you use the right window cleaning equipment. Try taking them outside and cleaning them with a garden hose. Saved for a hot day, cleaning the windows can cool you off as well! Hose down both sides and leave in the sun to air dry. Here's an additional window cleaning tip: The hose attachment on a vacuum cleaner will get dirt out of all of the little holes and crevices.
i have also found that a pet fur brush remover works really good on screens , just brush the screen with the plastic fur brush on both sides and the screen looks new
you can also use a pet fur brush remover on your screens to clean them just brush or screen like you would your hair works great
Hosing off screens does not really clean them. I have found the best cleaning tool for a screen is a sponge with the screen laying flat. Hose off a screen and then rub a sponge (hand held or mop) over it and you'll see what I mean!
I have found that using a old rag ready to be thrown out, I spray Scots liquid gold on the rag and clean both sides of screen and they look brand new and they are clean.
