Frost Free Winter WindowsDo you wake up to frost on the windows? It sort of ruins the view, doesn't it? Here's a window cleaning tip to keep this from happening to you: Mix one part anti freeze, or even rubbing alcohol, with two parts water, and use for washing the windows in the winter. This will keep your windows frost free and allow you to view scenic snow covered buildings or mountains instead.Comments10/19/2006 8:48:36 AMsharon said: Mr son is a doctor and he told me that the same ingredient that they use in the windshield rain protector product that cost a bunch is no more than rubbing alcohol! I use rubbing alcohol after cleaning my windows with regular window cleaner to leave a shiny, streakfree window that last for months. It can be used on a soft cloth, paper towel or mixed with water in a spray water for easy application and dried with newpaper if available or paper towels til dry. No more streaks!
