Acrylic Paint Removal from Clothing
If the paint stain is fresh, you should treat it immediately with soap and water. Check your pants for colorfastness, and if the color doesn't run, rub the stain with automatic dishwashing detergent, let stand briefly, then wash. Or, if your pants are colorfast, spray the stain with Easy-Off oven cleaner, let set for 30 minutes, then launder.

Worked great! 100% cotton blouse got acrylic paint on from kids but scrubbed out with water and automatic dishwashing powder.

I have the same cry for help as Anna S. What do you do if the paint has already dried? My daughter got acrylic pant on a brand new outfit and it dried at school. I have been soaking it but doesn't seem to be helping. What next?
